Due to the stochastic nature of wind energy, allocating an appropriate INVESTMENT incentive for wind generation technology (WGT) is a complicated issue. We propose an improvement on the traditional incentive, known as capacity payment mechanism (CPM), to reward the wind generators based on their performance exogenously affected by the wind energy potential of the location where the turbines are installed, and therefore, lead the INVESTMENTs towards locations with more generation potential. In CPM, a part of INVESTMENT cost of each generator is recovered through fixed payments. However, in our proposal, wind generators are rewarded according to dynamic forecasts of the wind energy potential of the wind farm where they are located. We use an auto-regressive moving average (ARMA) model to forecast the wind speed fluctuations in long-term while capturing the auto-correlation of wind velocity variation in consecutive time intervals. Using the system dynamics (SD) modelling approach a competitive electricity market is designed to examine the efficiency of the proposed incentive. Performing a simulation analysis, we conclude that while a fixed CPM for wind generation can decrease the loss of load durations and average prices in long-term, the proposed improvement can provide quite similar results more efficiently.

This study was conducted in the Agogo Traditional Area of the Ashanti region of Ghana where there are numerous cases of conflicts between crop and animal farmers as a result of insufficient pasture for livestock, especially during the dry seasons. This has drawn the attention of various stakeholders in agriculture to the need for supplement feed through pasture establishment. The study used cross-sectional data from 150 farmers selected via a multi-stage sampling technique. Financial viability indicators such as Net Present Value (NPV), Benefit-Cost Ratio (BCR) and Internal Rate of Return (IRR), and perception index based on a five-point Likert scale were used. SWOT analysis was also conducted to assess the feasibility of the pasture business venture. The study found the pasture business as a viable concept with a BCR of 1.18, a positive NPV of GH₵3,160, an IRR of 40.1% and a payback period of 2.61 years. Farmers’ perception on the establishment of pasture for small ruminant production was positive. The SWOT analysis identified the prospects and potential challenges of the concept as follows: availability of land, support to government policy of establishing ‘fodder banks’ for sustainable land use, low technical know-how, and land tenure issues, among others. The study recommends the establishment of pasture as a venture since it is financially viable and has the potency to reduce farmer-herder conflicts to make all stakeholders better off. Farmers should also be empowered by concerned institutions through technical education on pasture establishment.

این تحقیق با هدف آزمون تجربی تاثیر ارتباطات سیاسی بر میزان سرمایه گذاری شرکت ها و کارایی آن در بازه سال های 1391 الی 1398 شرکت های فعال در بورس اوراق بهادار تهران انجام شده است. روش جمع آوری داده ها آرشیوی و رجوع به بانک های اطلاعاتی و روش تحلیل داده ها، الگوی رگرسیون چند متغیره با استفاده از الگوی داده های تابلویی و روش اثرات ثابت است. نتایج پژوهش نشان می دهد رابطۀ بین ارتباطات سیاسی بر میزان سرمایه گذاری و همچنین کارایی سرمایه گذاری مثبت و معنی دار است. این نتایج بیانگر آن است که شرکت های دارای ارتباطات سیاسی میزان سرمایه گذاری بیشتری نسبت به سایر شرکت ها دارند و کارایی سرمایه گذاری نیز در شرکت های دارای ارتباطات سیاسی بیشتر است. با توجه به یافته های پژوهش می توان دریافت که شرکت های دارای ارتباطات سیاسی به دلیل برخورداری از مزایا و امتیازات دولتی و همچنین سهولت در جذب منابع مالی، نسبت به سایر شرکت ها، بیشتر و کارآتر سرمایه گذاری می کنند.

سرمایه گذاری خارجی در سبد اوراق بهادار (پورتفولیو) که به عنوان سرمایه گذاری خارجی در اوراق بهادار سرمایه ای و همچنین اوراق بهادار بدهی (و نه اوراق مشتقه) شناخته می شود، نوع خاصی از سرمایه گذاری است که صرفا با هدف کسب سود و بدون ایجاد منافع بلندمدت و مدیریت ناشر اوراق بهادار صورت می پذیرد. اگچه مزایا و معایب این نوع از سرمایه گذاری محل بحث بوده و تاکنون حل نشده باقی مانده است، بیشتر معاهدات سرمایه گذاری با بیان تعریف گسترده ای از «سرمایه گذاری» (مانند «هرگونه مشارکت در شرکت ها»)، شامل سرمایه گذاری پورتفولیو نیز می شوند، در نتیجه صرف اشاره به منافع سرمایه گذار یا مشارکت ایشان در شرکت ها، به معنای لازم دانستن «مدیریت» بر شرکت مزبور نیست. در واقع، سهامداران اقلیت نیز به طور کلی تحت حمایت معاهدات بین المللی سرمایه گذاری نیز می باشند و دیوان های داوری از این رویکرد حمایت نموده اند. در دیوان های داوری ایکسید، اجماع رو به رشدی مبنی بر تلقی «تعهد به تامین منابع»، «مدت زمان» و «ریسک (خطر)» به عنوان معنای مشترک ذاتی کلمه سرمایه گذاری و همچنین عناصر مفهوم «سرمایه گذاری» وجود دارد، در این رابطه به نظر می رسد که سرمایه گذاری پورتفولیو نیز مشمول ماده (1) 25 عهدنامه ایکسید به عنوان نوعی از «سرمایه گذاری» خواهد بود. هرچند آرای داوری اخیر ایکسید، موجب نگرانی فزاینده ای در خصوص نحوه حمایت از سرمایه گذاری پورتفولیو (به ویژه اوراق بهادار دولتی) گردیده است. این مقاله پس از تحلیل رویکرد دیوان های داوری و معاهدات سرمایه گذاری، مشخصا دو پیشنهاد اصلی را برای اصلاح معاهدات سرمایه گذاری مطرح می نماید: (یک) سرمایه گذاری پورتفولیو صریحا از قلمرو شمول معاهدات سرمایه گذاری دو و چندجانبه مستثنی گردد، (دو) عناصر عینی مفهوم سرمایه گذاری یعنی تعهد به تامین منابع، مدت زمان، ریسک (خطر) و کمک به توسعه کشور میزبان صریحا در متن معاهدات قید گردد.
